I started surfing in 2013, in my hometown, Plouguerneau (France). Being a former skater helped me to easily feel comfortable on a surfboard. After a year, I started reef surfing. It’s a pretty dangerous type of surfing, and I would sometimes cut my feet on the reef. I quickly realized that by searching a little, we could find great waves without having to go to the other side of the world. What I like about surfing is the connection with nature. Seeing the sunset from the water with your friends is an amazing feeling.Though it’s not always ‘la vie en rose’. I nearly drown once. But you know? Those experiences only make you stronger.I started paddleboarding as well, which allows me to surf when the waves are small.I love meeting new people, and encouraging young surfers. Being able to motivate them and see their progress makes me so proud. In the future, I’m hoping for bigger and bigger waves. Traveling and discover new cultures and new waves are my main goals.Surfing has an amazing atmosphere, and it’s a way of life. Only surfers can understand what I’m talking about. But hey if you want, you should get yourself a surfboard and you’ll see what I’m talking about!
